NAFA is a volunteer-run, non-profit, non-religious organisation, founded in 1989 and based in Brisbane, Australia.
NAFA supports disadvantaged individuals and communities in Nepal by funding one-off and multi-year health, education, economic development and other village infrastructure projects.
100% of donations/fundraising proceeds goes direct to NAFA-supported projects in Nepal.
NAFA Executive officers visit Nepal annually at their own expense to assess and monitor NAFA projects to ensure our funds are used wisely and in accordance to their approved purpose.
Our priority for fundraising and funding allocation in 2017 is:
“Funding the rebuild of remote village infrastructure
destroyed or badly damaged by the earthquakes in April and May 2015.”
Since its inception, NAFA has funded over 110 one-off projects and 16 multi-year programs in Nepal to a total value in excess of $1 million.
